Practical experience

Kutlwano has gained experience and has been involved in the following:

  • Instructed to represent Mowana Properties (Pty) Ltd. to attend to debt collection, commercial evictions, and litigation in respect of properties owned by the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF). The properties are in the Gauteng, North West, Western Cape and KwaZulu Natal Provinces.
  • Attending to a project to stabilise an entire residential building in Germiston and owned by the National Housing Finance Corporation SOC Ltd (NHFC), under CityNet (Pty) Ltd management. There were 163 residential units subject to eviction and debt collection proceedings. All eviction applications that were brought in the Germiston Magistrates Court on behalf of the client have been successful.
  • Attending to matters and trials representing the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) in the High Court matters. Most of the time was spent on personal injury clam litigation in the High Court, Gauteng Division, Pretoria and High Court, Western Cape Division.
  • Instructed by Assupol in various matters regarding general litigation in collection of overpayments to individuals, cancellation of contacts and demanding payment of outstanding payments due to the client.
